Both the United States Senate and House of Representatives passed resolutions on Thursday showing strong support for Israel’s war on Arab terror. The Senate vote passed by a vote of 94-2 while the House approved the resolution by a count of 352-21. Both resolutions condemned Palestinian suicide attacks and stated that the United States remains committed to Israel’s right to self-defense.
Going one step further, four members of the US House of Representatives - Peter Deutsch (D-FL), Joseph M. Hoeffel (D-PA), Jack Kingston (R-GA), and Jim Saxton (R-NJ) - arrived in Israel over the weekend for a four-day solidarity mission. The group will be meeting with Israeli government officials as well as visiting victims of terror and their families.
