Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev (Likud) addressed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu during this morning's (Sunday) cabinet meeting and demanded that he approve construction in Judea and Samaria also outside settlement blocs, Arutz Sheva has learned.

Regev said that soon, preceding the upcoming meeting between Netanyahu and President Trump, several waves of Judea Samaria building permit approvals are expected, and demanded that isolated communities not be discriminated against in the granting of permits.

"The status of the Blocs is identical to the status outside the blocs," Regev told Netanyahu during the meeting.

Last week Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman announced the release of building permits in various stages of progress in a number of regions in Judea and Samaria.

However, the publicized statement emphasized that most of the permits except for about 100 units are to be built within the settlement blocs.
