Israel saw another drowning death today as lifeguards work short hours for the twelfth week running.

People at the Tel Aviv Hilton Beach spotted a man floating face-down in the water on Friday morning, and immediately notified lifeguards.

The man, who looked to be in his 30s, was pulled out of the water by MDA emergency personnel, who worked to revive him.

He was rushed to Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv, where he passed away.

Since swim season opened on May 9, MDA reports that 114 people have drowned, 21 of which passed away. 10 were rescued in serious, or very serious, condition.
