IDF troops, in cooperation with the Border Police and the Civil Administration, demolished early Monday morning the home of the terrorist Mohammad Tarayra in Bani Na'im.

Tarayra is the terrorist who stabbed 13-year-old Hallel-Yaffa Ariel as she slept in her bed in Kiryat Arba on the morning of June 30, 2016.

The Supreme Court recently ruled that the home of the terrorist will be only partially demolished.

While the IDF had originally planned to destroy the entire structure following the attack, the Court ruled that only the second story of the home would be demolished, with the first floor left intact.

The Tarayra family had appealed to the court on the basis of “humanitarian concerns”, an argument the justices ultimately accepted.

In response, the Ariel family said that the ruling was “a miserable decision” and added that “the legal system serves our enemies. We regret the fact that the Israeli government shows weakness in its struggle against murderous terror. We will continue to build and strengthen and pray to God that the wicked will collapse.”
