Last Friday an indictment was filed against terrorist Ali Abu Hassan, a 20-year-old student from Beit Ula in the Hevron area. Abu Hassan had attempted a serious bombing attack on the Jerusalem light rail. He said he wanted to "avenge" the fact that tourists and Jews have been visiting the Temple Mount.
Abu Hassan is a civil engineering student in the University of Hevron, and had built a bomb which he was carrying in a backpack with the intention of detonating it on the train to murder as many Jews as possible, before being spotted and neutralized by alert light rail security personnel.
