Last night, the IDF succesfully confiscated illegal weaponry stashed in the Arab village of Kfar Kalil.

After careful intelligence work and planning, members of the "Granite" reconnaissance battalion, and other special forces, raided the village.

In the course of the operation, the soldiers confiscated guns, lots of ammunition, and stun grenades, as well as IDF uniforms.

A commander of the operation praised his soldiers: "The soldiers came [into the operation] with determination, and lots of motivation to find the weapons. They scoured the houses of the village and found lots of equipment and arms that could have been used against the citizens of Israel [in terrorist attacks] had we not confiscated them now."

"I hope that the operation will contribute to greater peace for residents [of the region], and promise that the IDF will continue to work with determination, to bring peace and security to the local residents," he added.
