IDF position in Metula comes under fire

Soldiers shoot back without hitting anyone. Authorities suspect initial bullet was stray shot.

An unknown assailant fired at an IDF post near Metula on Wednesday morning.

The soldiers returned fire, though they did not hit anyone.

The military is looking into a the incident as a suspected stray shot.

Metula is in northern Israel. The area has been relatively quiet for the past few years.

The IDF arrested 13 suspects in Judea and Samaria overnight. All 13 have been taken for questioning. Separately, the Nachal Brigade sealed three buildings in Judea that were used for creating military equipment.
