Border Police officers opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle that tried to run them over near A-Ram just north of Jerusalem, in an incident occurring in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

One of the passengers in the car was killed and another injured, with no casualties for the Border Police.

A third person from the car was arrested and taken in for questioning.

The attempted terror attack early this morning comes after a shooting attack in Gush Etzion on Saturday night in which a 30-year-old Israeli citizen was injured.

The terrorist opened fire on the man, who was driving, shooting 3 bullets, one of which struck. The wounded citizen managed to continue and meet IDF forces around the village of Tekoa. The IDF personnel administered first aid and evacuated him to the hospital with a knee wound. His condition is listed as light to moderate.
