Netanel Epstein, born and raised in Jerusalem by British Olim, has a natural talent for drawing comics. As a child, he dreamt of creating an internationally popular comic book series on the scope of Tintin and Astrix.

Netanel's goals and very life perspective changed when his close friend, Yoni, was murdered in a terror attack. Yoni, who was like a big brother to Netanel, had dedicated his young life to helping the Jewish people and making the world a better place. Netanel dropped his dream of fame and fortune, and decided to dedicate his skills and talents to drawing comics that would inspire and educate.

Though all the experts he asked told Netanel that he could never make a living drawing Jewish comics, his faith in G-d was strong, and he simply kept working at it. With the encouragement of his rabbi, Netanel has created the very popular "Higi'a Hazman (It's About Time)" series, featuring Azriel, the talking, time-travelling sheep. He has also created critically acclaimed comics about former Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu (of blessed memory) as well as books on the teachings of the Tanya, a classic Hassidic work.

Tune in to hear about Netanel's journey, and to hear his incredible dreams for the future.
