Despite popular portrayals in Western media outlets of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah party as moderates, the Fatah movement continued on Wednesday to incite young Arabs to violence.

Just two days after a bus bombing rocked Jerusalem, leaving at least 16 wounded, Abbas' Fatah party released a nine minute video glorifying the murder of Israeli Jews and calling for young Arabs to commit terror attacks and thus become “martyrs."

The propaganda video, entitled “Martyrdom-seeking Unites Us," was produced by Fatah’s “Shabiba” student movement branch in Bir Zeit University, reports Palestinian Media Watch.

Fatah published the video and advertised it on the organization’s Facebook page. The video idealizes the types of terror attacks which have gained prominence during the ongoing terror wave, including stabbings and the use of cars to run down Israelis.

In the clip, three friends are united by their desire for “martyrdom," willingly embracing their own deaths as part of the “struggle” against Israel. The three are shown carrying out a mock attack against a group of Israeli soldiers, running one down before stabbing the other two to death.

On Tuesday, Fatah’s "military wing," the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, praised the Jerusalem bus bombing, calling it a legitimate response “to the crimes of the Israeli occupation."
