Fatah incitement

Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction has heaped praise upon the Arab terrorists behind the string of attacks over the past 24 hours in Israel, which have claimed the life of an American tourist and injured scores of Israeli and foreign citizens.

Unusually, given the reticence by many world leaders to condemn Palestinian incitement outright, the degree to which official PA factions have celebrated the attacks even drew condemnation earlier Wednesday from visiting US Vice President Joe Biden.

As Arutz Sheva reported, apart from Hamas, the Palestinian Authority's official TV station hailed the terrorist who murdered American Taylor Allen Force as a "martyr", and praised his actions as "a complex operation" targeting "settlers" - despite the attack having occurred in Jaffa, inside the "Green Line."

But Abbas's Fatah faction, which regularly praises and encourages violence, has gone a step further, by glorifying and lionizing the attackers while calling for further attacks in a series of posts on its official social media outlets.

In one post on its official Facebook page shortly after the Jaffa attack, carried out by 22-year-old PA resident Bashar Masalha, Fatah uploaded a picture of a drawing of a hand holding a knife over the map of "Palestine" - which includes the entire State of Israel.

The text on the arm and map, translated by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), read "The heroic Martyr (Shahid)" and "Bashar Masalha", respectively.

In another Facebook post, also translated by PMW, Fatah uploaded a collage of pictures of the three terrorists killed carrying out Tuesday's attacks, along with the text: "Happy are the Martyrs (Shahids) #Continuing_toward_true_freedom_and_honor"

Bashar Masalha carried out the Jaffa attack, and was eventually shot dead by police, while 25-year-old Fuad Kassab Al-Tamimi was also killed by Israeli police after he opened fire on a police patrol near Jerusalem's Damascus Gate, seriously wounding two officers less than an hour beforehand.

Abd Al-Rahman Raddad, 17, stabbed a hassidic Jewish man in Petah Tikva less than an hour prior to the Jerusalem shooting. In an incredible act of courage, his victim - who had been stabbed repeatedly after being caught by surprise by the Arab terrorist - pulled the knife from his own neck and stabbed Raddad to death with it.

Another post by Fatah's Facebook account read:

"In the Martyrs' (Shahids') homeland and on the day the Martyrs are roses, flying to their Creator, to Allah's mercy. O the pride of all of the young Palestinians, may your blood remain a source of true honor for the homeland for which you sacrificed all - even your precious lives. We promise you that your blood will continue to be a torch that illuminates our path, until we achieve what you died for as Martyrs. Your blood has taught us a lesson in the school of life: #The_homeland's_honor_is_above_all"

Similar posts were also made by Fatah's official Twitter account, including numerous pictures of the slain terrorists, all of whom were celebrated as "martyrs" to be emulated.

Curiously, however, one particular post flagged by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's Arabic-language spokesman appears to have been taken down.

In that post, a screenshot of which was reposted by Ofir Gendelman, Fatah went so far as to urge supporters to offer their prayers for the soul of Bashar Masalha, who as mentioned above murdered US citizen Taylor Force and wounded 10 others, many of them serious, in a stabbing spree in Jaffa, near Tel Aviv.

Naturally, Mahmoud Abbas himself has not issued any condemnation of any of the attacks over the past 24 hours, which he undoubtedly views as acts of legitimate peaceful protest.
