Yisrael Beitenu chief Avigdor Lieberman condemned the government’s decision to return the bodies of two terrorists less than a day after their attack in the town of Eli, citing it as the latest example of the coalition’s inability to respond to terror.

Writing on Facebook on Thursday, Lieberman noted the sudden surge in terror attacks over the past two days, including an attack in Eli Wednesday morning, a pair of stabbings in Har Bracha Wednesday evening, a shooting attack on a police car late Wednesday night, and a stabbing attack in the Jordan Valley Thursday morning.

Lieberman blasted the government’s failure to halt the growing terror wave, noting its response to attacks is simply to return the bodies of terrorists killed in the act. He also took the opportunity to criticize Finance Minister Moshe Kachlon (Kulanu) for his decision last week to transfer half a billion shekels in withheld tax money to the Palestinian Authority.

“And what is the government’s response to these attacks? A quick return – under 24 hours – of the bodies of the terrorists who attacked Eli and money transfers from the Israeli government to Abu Mazen (500,000,000 shekels) to fund the payments he’ll give to the terrorists’ families and to terrorists who are arrested.”
