The Yesha Council is demanding that the Israeli government take active steps to stop the Palestinian Arab incitement which has directly caused the latest murderous terrorism wave.

On Sunday, the Yesha Council will hold a protest outside the Cabinet meeting, entitled "The Incitement Can be Stopped”, in which its members will demand that Israel shut down the Palestinian incitement channels.

"The wave of terror continues, and tonight a resident of Ma'ale Michmash was murdered and another person was wounded. Since the beginning, this terror wave has been defined as ‘individual terrorism’ but behind the action carried out by a lone terrorist, there is an inspiration which he receives from the public domain,” the Council said in a statement Thursday evening, following the stabbing attack in which Yanai Tuvia Weissman was murdered.

“The terrible incitement against Israelis in Palestinian society is a major factor that encourages the terrorists to go out and cause harm. The terrorist who murdered Dafna Meir in cold blood confessed under Shin Bet interrogation that he was inspired to do so by the Palestinian media. Terrorism can be stopped by disabling the communication channels that incite," it added.

On Sunday at 10:00 a.m. outside the cabinet meeting, the Yesha Council said it will demand that the Israeli government stop the broadcasts of the official media of the Palestinian Authority, block the transmission frequencies, confiscate transmitters and shut down the broadcasting stations.
