Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's wife Sarah, together with Health Minister Ya'akov Litzman (United Torah Judaism), paid a visit on Thursday afternoon to Assaf HaRofeh Medical Center in Tzrifin to see Sarah Sperling.

Two weeks before her wedding, Sperling was seriously wounded in the horrific Egged bus line 402 crash on Highway 1 this Sunday, in which six people died. Thanks to the efforts of the medical staff, on Wednesday her condition stabilized and she was classified as moderately wounded, while still on artificial respiration and put to sleep with anesthetics.

During Netanyahu and Litzman's visit, the medical team accompanied them and explained about the treatment Sperling is receiving at the hospital. They also described the complicated surgery she underwent as soon as she arrived at the facility.

Netanyahu and Litzman spoke with family members of the crash victim who were at Sperling's bedside, and gave them words of encouragement.

Litzman thanked the medical team for not sparing any efforts in fighting for the bride-to-be's speedy recovery, and said Assaf HaRofeh Medical Center is the most suitable hospital for the surgery Sperling required.

"The fact that they evacuated the girl here is a clear miracle, after it is understood that this is the only place in the country that knows how to deal with cases this complicated," said Litzman to the hospital's management.

The family is asking the public to pray for the full recovery of Sarah bat Dina.
