An IDF soldier was injured in a hit-and-run near Beit Horon, north of Jerusalem.

The victim is listed in light condition, according to emergency services at the scene. The driver fled in his vehicle following the attack, with security forces in hot pursuit.

The incident took place at the entrance of the Palestinian Arab village of Ura a-Tahta, along Route 443 in Samaria's Binyamin Region.

However while terrorism was initially suspected, the IDF has since reported they do not believe it was an act of terrorism but an accident.

Last night two terrorists from the same village attacked innocent shoppers in the nearby Jewish town of Beit Horon, stabbing to death 23-year-old Shlomit Krigman and seriously wounding another woman. The two terrorists were shot dead by a security guard after being fought off by a bystander who prevented them from entering the supermarket.
