IDF forces arrested six wanted terror suspects in Judea and Samaria overnight Thursday.

Three of the detainees are suspected for involvement in nationalistic related terror incidents, and for violent disruptions of the peace causing harm and injury to civilians and security forces alike.

Two of the six arrests were made in Samaria. In the town of Jaba, near Tulkarem, a wanted Hamas operative was arrested. Two other arrests were made in the nearby town of Medame, one of whom was also a wanted Hamas operative.

In Judea one arrest was made near Hevron, another near Tekoa and a third near Bethlehem.

All of the detainees were brought in for questioning by Israeli security forces.

At the same time, following instructions received from the political echelon of government, the Givati brigade, in conjunction with the Engineering corps and COGAT, mapped out the house of terrorist Ahmad Hamad Yunus Akanbi in the village of Akeb.

Akanbi carried out the stabbing attack near Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem on October 30th, sending two Israeli civilians to the hospital.

One civilian was injured from the stabbing, the other by a stray bullet intended for Akanbi; the terrorist was shot and killed.
