Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid distributed information pamphlets to Israelis traveling abroad from Ben-Gurion Airport on Tuesday morning, presenting arguments to use against the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

"Against the lies circulating [about Israel], this is to tell the truth," Lapid told travelers.

"Israel is under constant attack by lies and slander, all over the world," he added. "Today we are launching a campaign to protect our country and recruit the best citizens of the country who fly abroad."

"We have prepared a small booklet which fits in your pocket with a number of points that can win any argument," he continued. "In fact, every citizen can become an ambassador and protect Israel at home and abroad."

"You cannot leave the arena where they defame us without giving them a response."

The booklet not only gives points against common BDS arguments, Maariv reports, but also tools and tips to use social networking and the internet to combat lies about Israel.

It marks the culmination of an ongoing campaign Lapid has launched over the past several months against anti-Israel propaganda, including meetings with top officials and Jewish communities across the globe to discuss the issue.
