An additional stabbing attack was launched in Jerusalem Sunday morning, shortly after 10:15 am - just hours after a Palestinian Arab stabbed a Border Policeman in the Old City.

The terrorist boarded the 418 bus from Jerusalem to Beit Shemesh, as it was stopped on Shamgar street in the Romema neighborhood, and began stabbing passengers, initial reports indicate.

One person, a 39 year-old tourist, is reportedly suffering from light injuries and was treated by Magen David Adom (MDA) medics at the scene. She was transferred to Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center for treatment, where she is listed as stable and in moderate condition.

"When we arrived, we saw in the front seat of the bus a woman, in her thirties, fully conscious with a stab wound in her upper body," emergency medics David Turgeman and Aaron Adler stated from the scene. "An ambulance transported her off the bus and during the evacuation, we gave her medical treatment, which included stopping bleeding, dressing the wound, and giving hydration."

Traffic near the corner of Yirmiyahu St. and Shamgar St. has stalled until further notice as police - including helicopters - comb the area.

Police captured the terrorist less than 1 hour after the attack, Arutz Sheva has learned, and have taken the suspect in for questioning. Eyewitness accounts led security officials to the suspect, who was hiding in a nearby building site.

Initial reports say the terrorist is a Palestinian Arab teenager, a 17 year-old from the Hevron area; he admitted his role in the attack upon interrogation. Two additional Palestinian Arabs involved have been arrested, Channel 10 reports.
