
Israel's latest rainy weekend will continue into the new week Sunday, with cloudy skies and seasonal, yet comfortable, temperatures.
The precipitation will be focused mainly in northern and central Israel during the afternoon hours. Rainfall in the northern Negev is also possible.
Thunder and lightening are expected to accompany rainfall in the north as well on mountains in Israel's center.
On Monday, rains will grow heavier and the weather is expected to turn wintry. On Tuesday, rains will gradually let up giving way to warmer temperatures by the end of the week.
Predicted highs are: 22°C (72°F) in the Golan Heights, 26° (79°) at the Kinneret, 23° (73°) in Haifa and Nazareth, 24° (75°) in Tel Aviv and the Shfela, 19° (66°) in Ariel, 18° (64°) in Jerusalem and the Negev mountains, 23° (73°) in Be'er Sheva and 29° (84°) in Eilat.
