Kiryat Arba resident Meir Pavlovsky, 31, returned home from hospital Sunday, ten days after he was brutally stabbed by an Arab terrorist, who seriously wounded him.

Pavlovsky was sitting next to the Hazon David synagogue, studying Torah, when the terrorist snuck up on him and stabbed him in the stomach, then stabbed him in the back as he ran away.

Pavlovsky described the ordeal to friends and well-wishers when he returned home, and said that he was so badly wounded that he had to hold on to his own intestines as he ran toward the nearby IDF position.

"When I arrived at the hospital, the doctor gave me a 10% chance of surviving," he told Arutz Sheva Monday.

The attack took place near the western gate of the town, which opens on to the Arab majority city of Hevron.

The terrorist was reportedly aged about 15, and his knife was over 10 inches long. IDF forces launched a manhunt after the stabber, who fled in the direction of Hevron, but have yet to apprehend him.

Pavlovsky is in Israel on his own, without his parents, who live in the Ukraine. He is planning to get engaged soon.

The accompanying photos show how badly he was wounded – and give some idea of the cruelty of the Arab terror war currently being waged against Jewish civilians. They also give some indication as to what so many of the casualties who survive the terror attacks, and are only listed as "wounded," have to deal with.
