Police and border police personnel scrambled to respond to a suspected shooting attack at the Rabin Terminal, along the Israeli-Jordanian border.

No casualties were reported.

Soon after, police clarified that the gunshots heard occurred inside Jordan, and fire does not appear to have been directed into Israel.

However, due to the sensitive security situation the crossing has been temporarily closed as a precaution.
