Oriya Dagan, the wife of the head of the Samaria Regional Council Yossi Dagan, and their three children were lightly wounded on Friday afternoon in a car accident near the Jewish village of Shilo, which was caused after the car was pelted by rocks.

Two other people in a second vehicle suffered light wounds as well.

Dagan was making her way to Jerusalem to meet her husband, who is at the protest tent that was set up outside the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem which is calling for decisive action against the recent wave of lethal terror attacks.

Oriya and her children were evacuated to the Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. Dagan himself left the tent and went to the hospital to be with his family.

Magen David Adom paramedic Ilan Klein, who arrived at the scene of the accident, said, "On the road there were two vehicles that were damaged by rocks, resulting in the accident. Inside the vehicles were six wounded persons, including three children, all in light condition. After we took them out of the vehicles, the goal was to give them quick treatment at the scene before taking them to the hospital."
