Education Minister Naftali Bennett (Jewish Home) personally removed Islamist flags from a tree at the side of the highway on Friday, amid rampant incitement against Israeli Jews in Judea, Samaria (Shomron), and across Israel.

Bennett was returning from a visit to Peduel Friday morning, after attending morning prayers with the community; the parents of Naama Henkin, who was murdered on October 1 in front of her four children alongside her husband, live in the town.

On his way home to Raanana, he received a message on popular messaging app WhatsApp showing flags from the Islamic Movement in Israel - which has been defined as a terror group by the Israeli government - hanging on an olive tree near the high-tech park in Rosh HaAyin.

Bennett asked his driver to double back along the highway to find the tree, and personally removed the flags.
