Residents of the town of Kedumim in Samaria on Friday morning protested the murder of a young couple by Arab terrorists outside nearby Itamar the night before.

The residents protested by praying the morning prayers at Kedumim Intersection, blocking the road.

The protest follows nighttime protests that shut down roads in various regions of Judea and Samaria, in response to the murder of Rabbi Eitam and Naama Henkin, who were shot to death in an attack on their car and were murdered in front of four of their children.

The "armed wing" of Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction claimed responsibility for the attack.

The prayer protest on Friday morning will apparently be the first of a number of large demonstrations throughout the country expressing the frustration of residents at the collapse in security.

A large protest will be held at 10:30 a.m. under Jerusalem's iconic String Bridge at the entrance to the capital, while at the same time similar protests will take place in Bat Yam, Be'er Sheva, Afula, Dimona, Shilat Junction outside Modi'in, and Negohot.

At 11 a.m. the protests continue at Raanana Junction, and at 1:15 p.m. a protest is planned outside the Arab town of Beit Furik adjacent to Itamar, at the road where the murder occurred.
