A delegation of 22 parliamentarians from 18 different countries arrived in Israel on Tuesday as part of the Israel Allies Foundation's annual Jerusalem Chairman’s Conference.

Sponsored by the World Jewish Congress (WJC) and the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, the conference from September 29 until October 1, will also feature a number of distinguished guests from Israel.

The delegation, led by European Parliament member Bastiaan Belder, will meet with senior Israeli officials to discuss the double standard of anti-Israel boycotts, the threat of a nuclear Iran on Israel and the West, and Jerusalem as Israel's undivided capital.

On the second day of the conference, the parliamentarians will tour Judea and Samaria, including a visit to the Rami Levy supermarket in Sh'ar Binyamin to hear from Arabs and Jews who work together every day.

The tour will also include a visit with Bat-Galim Shaer, the mother of Gilad Shaer, one of the three Israeli teenagers kidnapped and murdered by Hamas terrorists in June 2014.

On Thursday, the parliamentarians will draft and sign a resolution declaring their support for Israel and vowing to take a stance against anti-Israel movement such as BDS.

The resolution will be accepted by Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan on behalf of the Israeli government at a press conference from the Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem on Thursday night.
