Two children aged 3 and 5 were found abandoned Friday afternoon in their booster chairs in Moshav Zanoach, adjacent to Beit Shemesh.

MDA crews performed CPR on both children and transferred them to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem. The 3 year-old boy is in critical condition; the 5 year-old, in serious condition.

"When I got to the scene I came across two children unconscious, who had seemed to had been forgotten," Moshe Teitelbaum, CEO of United Hatzalah, stated Friday.

"Together with other volunteers from the motorcycle unit of the United Hatzalah, we successfully revived them and took them for further medical treatment."

He added that the Israel Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
