The Palestinian Authority (PA)'s ruling Fatah faction has threatened rocket attacks against Israel, Palestinian Media Watch reports Wednesday, posting an illustration glorifying rocket attacks to its Facebook page.

The illustration (above) was posted to the faction's main page last week, with the quote, "If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you." (Quran, Sura 3:160 - translation from Sahih International).

The text on the flag is Islam's declaration of faith, PMW adds: "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah."

In another illustration, a rifle is indicated to be a prime part of the PA's campaign for "freedom" from the "Israeli occupation."

The text of the image reads, "resist in any way; do not rest," according to the watchdog organization.

All of the pictured items represent typical means of PA incitement against Jews and Israel: a camera indicates the false photography for international reporters and films funded by extreme leftist groups; the figure is a well-known caricature, the Palestinian media character Handala - representing incitement through literature; the map of Israel is representative of the literal redrawing of the map in Palestinian educational tools; the oud is representative of cultural events; and the rifle, of warfare and terrorism.

Fatah has often used its Facebook page as a vehicle for incitement, and activity on its social media accounts to this end have increased over the past several months.
