Two car bombs rocked the southern Swedish city of Malmo, local police spokeswoman Linda Pleym stated Saturday, in a district known for its high immigrant population from Muslim-majority countries.

No one was injured by the early-morning explosions in the Rosengaard district, Pleym told the Associated Press, which has a high immigrant population from Kosovo, Lebanon, Bosnia, and Iraq.

One bomb exploded near a building, another in a nearby parking lot, police said.

No individual or group has yet claimed responsibility for the bombs.

This is only the latest in a series of car bomb attacks in Malmo, police said, and a prominent downtown building that houses municipal and judicial offices, a courthouse, and a police staion was targeted twice.
