Days after an internal IDF video showing previously unseen footage of a terrorist attack near the Zikim base on July 8 found its way to Arabic-language websites, Hamas now claims to have found another yet-unseen video from Operation Protective Edge - this time, boasting it hacked into IDF computers.

The second video shows the terrorist infiltration of a band of Hamas terrorists into Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha in the Eshkol Regional Council on July 19, according to Walla!.

The footage, entitled "Video Obtained From the Hacking of Military Computers of the Zionist Enemy by the Al-Qassam Brigades," surfaced Saturday night on Al-Aqsa news.

"On July 19, an operation was performed to penetrate behind enemy lines during Operation Protective Edge," Arabic captions on the screen read. "Our fighters were ambushed for six hours in enemy territory, until they reached the set goal: three jeeps. During an attack two jeeps were hit, and we killed several [IDF soldiers]."

The video further boasts that "the enemy had not noticed" the terrorists and shows several of them returning unharmed to Gaza. Hamas also shows off photos of the two soldiers killed during the clash -  Col. Amotz Greenberg, 45, of Hod Hasharon, and Sgt. Adar Bersano, 20, of Nahariya, hy"d

"Some of the content distributed by Hamas is recognized by the military," the IDF responded late Saturday night. "There is no inquiry [into the issue]. We are investigating whether it was leaked from a classified network."

The new leak surfaces amid a newfound focus on cyber-warfare. The IDF revealed several months ago that its cyber defense division was drafted in to mount a defense against a systemic hacker attack - sponsored by the Iranian government - during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza this summer.

The Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet) also recently revealed it had set up an elite cyber-defense unit to defend against an organized attack on Israeli cyberspace.

Both revelations led to the Israeli government's establishment of an official National Authority for Cyber Defense in September.
