Arabs opened fire towards a passing police car in the Binyamin region on Thursday night. No one was hurt.

The officers in the police car said they heard gunshots being fired and drove a few hundred meters, before stopping and discovering eight bullet marks on the car.

Security forces are searching the area looking for those responsible for the attack.

The attack is the latest in what has become known as the “silent intifada” in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria.

Two terrorist attacks took place on Wednesday, both of the hit-and-run type. In the first attack, a Hamas terrorist drove his car into two separate groups of Israeli pedestrians in Jerusalem, killing Border Patrol officer Jedan Assad and injuring 13 others.

Several hours later, three IDF soldiers were injured in a second terror attack in Gush Etzion.

The attacked occurred when a terrorist driving a Palestinian Arab commercial vehicle attempted to run over the soldiers as they were on duty near a guard stand outside of Kafr Al-Arub.

The driver then fled from the scene, driving southward. Security forces located the empty car a short time later. The driver turned himself in to police on Thursday.
