Largely in response to an Arutz Sheva report on a counter-anti-Semitism event hosted by the Permanent Mission of Palau to the UN, organizers say that there has been a surge of over 500 RSVPs for the event. The organizer of the historic event, Ms. Ugoji Eze, CEO/President of the Eng Aja Eze Foundation, proudly remarked, “It looks like it’s going to be a packed house, and the ECOSOC room is the best room in the house, as it should be for such a vitally important and timely subject.”

The “ECOSOC” room is the Economic and Social Council Chamber at the UN HQ that holds up to 580 people.

The subject of the event is “Global Anti-Semitism: A Threat to International Peace and Security,” scheduled for Monday at 1:15 p.m. New York time. All RSVP attendees should arrive at the 47th and 1st Avenue entrance to the United Nations at least two hours before the event (at 11:15 a.m.) to pass through screening and security. Given the large turn-out, unless you arrive early, you may not be able to pass through screening in time for the conference.

The event will also be live-streamed at http://webtv.un.org. The exact live-stream address will be published on Arutz Sheva’s security analyst Mark Langfan’s Arutz Sheva blog on September 8, 2014, Monday morning.

In addition to the host – Dr. Caleb Otto, UN Ambassador of Palau –  Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, will also be addressing the event. Numerous other ambassadors from the UN will be in attendance, and the German UN Ambassador has requested to speak as well.

The charismatic and courageous Brigitte Gabriel will be the first keynote speaker, and will be followed by Mark Langfan, who will show a Powerpoint presentation of the risks Israel faces in the Middle East and Israel’s strategic value to stability and peace in the region. A link to the graphics will be posted on Mark’s Arutz Sheva blog as well.

Other speakers in the moderated panel will be Pastor Mario Bramnick, Chief Liaison for Israel and the Middle East Policy, National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference; Anne Bayefsky, Dir. of Touro Institute on Human Rights and Holocaust; David Lobel, Executive Office, Governor of New York State; Tsipi Ben-Haim, Creative Director, CITY-Arts, and Michael Llorenz, Professor, Touro College Graduate School of Business.

The event is shaping up to be a one-of-a-kind, historic pro-Israel, counter-Anti-Semitism event.
