Watch: Gazan Children Play 'Kidnap the Soldier'
Abducting Israeli soldiers is child's play in Gaza, Channel 2 revealed Monday, after footage surfaced showing Gaza's children engaging in a realistic game of "capture the soldier."
Footage shows two Palestinian Arab boys chasing a third around a makeshift "terror tunnel" made from mattresses, then capturing him and bringing him through it. The "kidnapped" child cries "Ima, Ima." (Hebrew: "Mommy, mommy.")
The two "kidnappers" then make a "pretend" ransom video, brandishing toy guns and with handkerchiefs on their faces.
All boys look to be no older than 8-9 years old.
The phenomenon is an outcropping of rampant Palestinian incitement against Jews on children's shows and in the media. In May, footage surfaced of a Hamas-backed show which encouraged children to "shoot the Jews."
During the show, called "Pioneers of Tomorrow", young children are interviewed by a young presenter and her "bumblebee" co-host and encouraged to carry out a variety of violent attacks.
In another clip released weeks later, a little girl reads a poem encouraging children to "buy a bullet."
The game also surfaces just weeks after Operation Protective Edge, which stemmed from the abduction and murder of Israeli teenagers Naftali Frenkel, Gilad Sha'ar, and Eyal Yifrah, hy"d, and the events which followed.
Hamas and Fatah alike mocked the kidnapped teens during the operation to retrieve them, Operation Brother's Keeper, launching a sick social media campaign glorifying the kidnapping - which included children - and encouraging Palestinian Arabs to kidnap soldiers.
Later, Hamas kidnapped the bodies of soldiers Oron Shaul and Hadar Goldin (hy"d), both of whom were later declared dead by Israel.
