ISA, IDF Eliminate Hamas Weapons Expert

Ismail Mohammed Saadi Aklouk spearheaded efforts to upgrade Hamas's rocket arsenal, introduce drones.

Cleared for publication: The Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet) and the IDF, in a joint operation in Gaza, have eliminated well known Hamas leader Ismail Mohammed Saadi Aklouk, it was revealed Sunday. 

Aklouk, 25 and a senior military commander in the Hamas's "military wing," the Al-Qassam Brigades, was eliminated Sunday after the IDF opened fire on his vehicle in Gaza. 

Aklouk worked for several years as part of production, research and development of the Brigades and as such contributed to the development of advanced weaponry.

He also contributed much to the project developing unmanned aircraft (drones) of the Hamas military wing and to upgrading Hamas's rocket arsenal, according to the announcement. 

News of another prime hit surfaces less than 72 hours after the IDF announced the elimination of nine senior Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists.
