Two soldiers who were wounded during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza succumbed to their injuries in Israeli hospitals on Saturday.

The IDF Spokesperson has released their names: Captain Liad Lavi, a fighter in the infantry officer, 22, from Moshav Sde Nitzan, and Sergeant Major Rami Kahlon, 39 of Hadera.

Kahlon will be laid to rest on Sunday at the military cemetery in Hadera.

The IDF has also released the funeral times of six soldiers who were killed over the weekend.

The funeral of Lieutenant Roi Peles, 21, from Tel Aviv, will take place Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery.

The funeral of Staff Sergeant Guy Levy, 21, from Kfar Vradim, will take place Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the cemetery in Kfar Vradim.

The funeral of Staff Sergeant Guy Boiland, 21, of Ginosar, will take place Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the cemetery in Ginosar.

The funeral of Staff Sergeant Amit Yeori, 20, from Jerusalem, will take place on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl.

The funeral of Staff Sergeant Abraham Grinzweig, 20, of Petah Tikva, will take place Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at the military cemetery in Petah Tikva.

The funeral of Staff Sergeant Gal Basson, 20, from Holon, will take place on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the Holon cemetery.

40 officers and soldiers have been killed in Gaza since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge.
