'Imagine that this was fired on your neighborhood, on your children's schools - or even your own home,' Bennett demonstrates.

The international community has been quick to condemn Operation Protective Edge, buying into the Palestinian Authority and Hamas 'victimization narrative' despite the hundreds of rockets being fired on Israeli civilians every day.

Jewish Home Chairman Naftali Bennett took to Fox News over the weekend to bring the reality of life in much of Israel this week a little closer to home, providing a glimpse to the American public of what Israelis must deal with on a daily basis.

Bennett brought part of an actual Hamas-fired rocket to the studio as a visual aid.

"This is the tail of a grad rockets, one that was shot by the Hamas terror group in Gaza onto Israeli cities," he said. "We've had hundreds of them."

"Now, I'd like every one of your viewers to imagine this missile, this rocket - it's about eight feet long, filled with explosives and shrapnel - and imagine how they'd feel if one of these rockets fell in their neighborhood, in their children's kindergarten, or school, or G-d forbid on their own home," he continued.

"That's what Israel is facing today."
