The folk-rock music sensation Michael David Rosenberg, better known by his stage name Passenger, performed in Tel Aviv's Barby Club on Tuesday.

Passenger is best known for his hit song "Let Her Go," which topped 16 international charts and was named 2013 song of the year by the Israeli music radio station Galgalatz. The official music video of the song has already garnered over 300 million views on YouTube.

The singer followed his concert with an impromptu performance on Wednesday on Nahalat Binyamin Street in Tel Aviv, quickly amassing hundreds of Israeli fans. Video from the street show can be seen here:

In the video Passenger opens with Avicii's hit song "Wake Me Up," leading in to his own classic "Let Her Go."

Rosenberg (Passenger) was born in England to an English mother and an American Jewish father. He launched his solo career in 2009 after his band, also called Passenger, dissolved.

Israel has been treated to several international music stars over the summer. So far Justin Timberlake and the Rolling Stones have performed in the Jewish state. Lana Del Rey is set to appear as well on August 20.
