An Arab man was shot and seriously wounded by Border Police near Hevron Monday.

The man was shot after he began running toward the entry gate to a Border Police base next to the community of Telem, west of Hevron.

A female Border Police officer warned the man, and fired several warning shots in the air, but the man kept on running and shouting.
