After the huge storm last month, I had the opportunity to see some beautiful rainbows in the desert. It was very hard for some families without power for 2-3 days, but I looked at it as a blessing to return to basics and to appreciate heat, light, and electricity that we all take for granted on a day to day basis.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year for the trees of Eretz Yisrael. As the sap starts to flow in the trees, may the sap within all of us start to flow and create a better World for our children and for future generations.
