Yad Sarah’s mobile unit has been making a difference for senior citizens by showing them new devices and activities that can help them lead fuller, more comfortable lives.
Arutz Sheva made the rounds with them to see exactly what Yad Sarah was offering.
This month, at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, was a month full of activities, classes and exhibits to explain to seniors what was available to them to improve their quality of life.
The first day, Yad Sarah built a “model safe apartment” in the Center’s yard. There will also be a “laughter workshop”, as well as exercises classes for both men and women.
The first day there were information booths all throughout the lobby which were manned by internists, physiotherapists, dietitians, and more. They also received advice on things to watch out for to avoid accidents in the home.
