Ruth Nachshon, an interior architect and designer, spoke to Arutz Sheva at the recent mega aliyah event in Jerusalem, and gave olim (new immigrants) tips on how to design their new Israeli home.

“The color should speak,” said Nachshon, adding that people should choose colors that provide a feeling of harmony and good atmosphere.

Specifically for Anglos, Nachshon said that “today everything goes,” but added that “conservative colors” such as gray, white and brown would be a good fit.

“When people go to choose a color they should see if they like it,” she said.
