Shlomo Ben-Zaken, a real estate agent with RE/MAX, spoke to Arutz Sheva during a recent mega aliyah event in Jerusalem.

Ben-Zaken stressed that there are plenty of homes available to olim (new immigrants) in both Jerusalem and the Binyamin region.

Buying in Jerusalem “is probably the best investment in the world,” said Ben-Zaken. “There are great new projects coming in every day and there are very nice deals.”

Housing is available in neighborhoods such as Armon Hanatziv, Gilo and Pisgat Zeev, as well as in the Binyamin region. As well, many of the older neighborhoods in the city are being renewed as investors purchase land and build newer homes.

“There are beautiful apartments,” said Ben-Zaken. “Many investors have turned to me from America who are afraid of putting their money in America and would rather bring their money to Israel. This is definitely the future. We have a very solid economy in Israel and the real estate market is really booming.”

Judea and Samaria are “absolutely” booming as well, he emphasized. “In my neighborhood alone, prices over the past two-three years have pretty much doubled. The houses are beautiful and you have great quality of life.”
