Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu convened the Cabinet for a special session in honor of the 46th Jerusalem Day at the Herzl Museum Sunday.
"Jerusalem is experiencing very strong momentum in all fields: in education, in culture, in sport, is transport, in tourism, is science and in medicine," he said.
"Jerusalem is turning into a modern metropolis with a very strong connection to the past and a jump-start to a very promising future.
"This session expresses the government's commitment to carry on the momentum, together with the Jerusalem Municipality, is all ministries and in all channels, so that this change, this new direction, will continue with full force."
