IDF soldiers came under attack Sunday morning while arresting two men suspected of terrorist activity in the Palestinian Authority Arab town of Anata near Ramallah.

Local men hurled stones and firebombs at the soldiers. The troops were not hurt.

A total of 12 terror suspects were arrested in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) overnight.

Over the course of the Sabbath, PA terrorists continued a campaign to target Israeli drivers in Judea and Samaria. Several Israeli drivers came under attack in the Gush Etzion area south of Jerusalem. No injuries were reported, but the vehicles sustained damage.

One PA terrorist was nabbed on Saturday during an attempt to attack a military post in Samaria. The man had approached the post with a makeshift gun, ammunition, and pictures of the area. He was arrested and confessed to having planned an attack on soldiers at the site.

A large-scale riot was reported at Rachel’s Tomb (Kever Rachel) on Saturday night. Roughly 100 Arabs hurled stones at IDF troops at the site. Attackers also used two makeshift grenades, which failed to cause injury.

Soldiers dispersed the attackers using non-violent riot control measures.
