Temperatures are expected to drop on Wednesday, the first of the intermediate days of Passover. Weather forecasters predict that temperatures will be within normal range for the season, after an unusually warm Tuesday.

There may be light rain in the afternoon, particularly in the north.

On Thursday, the weather is expected to be slightly warmer, beginning a trend of increasing temperatures that will continue through Saturday.

By Friday, the weather will be unusually warm for the season, forecasters say.

Hundreds of thousands of Israelis normally visit Israel’s parks and other nature sites during the intermediate days of Passover and Sukkot. The Nature and Parks Authority is prepared for a major influx of visitors beginning Wednesday.
