The Jewish National Fund (JNF) has joined forces with Nefesh B’Nefesh to promote aliyah to Israel.

JNF participated in the Nefesh B'Nefesh Aliya Orientation at Times Square in Manhattan this week.

“Our involvement is based on a history spanning 112 years, during which we focused on infrastructure and not on people,” said Menachem Leibowitz, deputy director of JNF, in an interview with Arutz Sheva.

“The JNF has decided to invest in the people themselves. This means to help people settle in the south and the north of Israel,” he added.

“Zionism brings Jews to Israel,” said Leibowitz. “Most of the Jews make aliyah for Zionist reasons and we can see that all immigrants that do make aliyah to Israel are people who were educated in a Zionist environment in the United States.”
