A Jewish Star, the singing competition which looks for the next male Jewish star singer, is returning for a fourth season.
With the goal of providing a platform for talented individuals to shine, A Jewish Star has teamed up this year with the National Council of Young Israel of America to make Jewish music exciting once again. For its fourth season, the singing competition will be produced as a reality web and TV series and will highlight the vocal talents of men of all ages and all Jewish backgrounds.
Contestants can register through the website and audition live before a panel of celebrity judges on February 17 and 18 in New York City. Voting participants can view the live auditions as part of the reality series, and vote online or via text message to help determine the next Jewish Star.
As opposed to in years past, the live auditions allow for the inclusion of more contestants. It no longer matters if a person can afford an in-studio musical production in order to participate as a contestant. Instead, a contestant needs only to show up for auditions and perform his best song choice in person.
In the video below, A Jewish Star host MODI explains how to register for the auditions online.
