Arutz Sheva met with Noam Zeichner, the CEO of the Israeli Miniature Golf Association, who spoke about a mini golf park that is being planned for the city of Ashdod.
Zeichner noted that miniature golf is popular among Israelis, and said that in addition to Ashdod, the plan is to eventually have mini golf parks from Eilat in the south all the way to Akko up in the north.
“Here in Ashdod we’re planning to build an adventure miniature golf park, similar to ones in the United States, that will be played under the rules of the World Miniature Golf Federation,” he said. “This means that the park will support outdoor family recreation that is very much missing in Israel.”
In five years, predicted Zeichner, “you’ll be able to see five to ten miniature golf courses in Israel, you’ll see many people having a lot of fun and you’ll be seeing many smiles.”
