The Likud is seeking an injunction order against its most well-known fan. The party has asked the Elections Committee to issue an order against the Likudnik website out of concern that its controversial articles will reflect badly on the party.

Likud Beytenu wants the website to make it clear to viewers that it is not affiliated with the Likud in any official capacity.

The party also wants the site to add to each elections ad on the site an indication of who ordered it, as required by the Elections Law.

The Likudnik site was recently in the media for publishing an article using Holocaust imagery that accused Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party head Naftali Bennett of taking Jews “back to the ghetto.”

The Elections Committee has not yet issued a decision in the case.
