Arutz Sheva - Israel National Radio will be holding a virtual Chanukah party on Sunday, December 9th at 9:00 PM Israel time. INR listeners are invited to join in using their webcams.
The event is the brainchild of Avraham Venismach of Arutz Sheva's Aliyah Fever podcast and David Lev of Aliyah Magazine, co-founders of Israel Vibes Interactive Broadcasting.

“We are taking advantage of the latest in internet technology to bring Jewish people together,” explained Venismach.
“People can not only join us from their computers but also on their mobile devices as well," Lev added.
This exciting virtual event reflects Israel’s love of exploration into new territory.
“Imagine if the Maccabees were worried about the outcome of their revolution beforehand. Where would that have left us at Chanukah time?” Lev stated, commenting on the experimental nature of a live streaming video radio show in which anyone can log in.
The event will feature interviews with Danny Oberman, the Executive VP of Israel Operations at the Nefesh B’Nefesh organization. Also featured on the show will be Dr. Ian Stern of the Israel Antiquities Authority who participated in the discovery of the Heliodoros stele, an archaeological find dating to the time of the Maccabees.
Live music will be performed by Yerachmiel Ziegler, of Little Apple Studios, a well-known singer on the Jewish music scene. Plus, the hosts of Aliyah Fever and fellow INR shw hosts Walter Bingham of Walter's World, Ben Bresky of Israel Beat and surprises.
