Police arrested a would-be Arab terrorist at the entrance to Maaleh Adumim, east of Jerusalem, Thursday evening.

The man, a resident of Shechem aged about 40, arrived at the entrance to the town in a suspect vehicle without license plates. He told police that he is involved in a dispute with an Arab from Azariya, a nearby village, and that the other Arab told him to carry out a terror attack as a way of settling their dispute.

The suspect was arrested and the entrance to Maaleh Adumim was blocked for a while. Nothing was found during a bomb-squad search of the vehicle he was driving.

Two weeks ago, police arrested a suspect terrorist at French Hill in northern Jerusalem after he stabbed a woman in the face when she came to pick up her husband from his office.
